Only five more school days until the end of the school year! Wow!
On Tuesday, students will be bringing home their writing folders and writers’ notebooks from the school year. The writing folder and its contents are for students & parents to keep and reflect upon. A few notes on the contents of the writing folder: Students are responsible for entering material into the writing folder during designated class time. If there is an assignment missing, your child may have it in his/her possession. Note: The end-of-year assessment and one self-chosen essay are not returned to students. They are kept in a cumulative school folder and passed on to students’ 7th grade English teachers.
Now is a great time for reflection. Review the writing folder and notebook, looking for areas of growth this year and setting goals for 7th grade. Students, you produced some amazing writing this year!
In closing, I consider every student of mine as a student-for-life. I look forward to watching your growth in these remaining years at Middlesex.
